There are direct buses to the city centre and Waverley Train Station, and to The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. There is also a direct bus to Queen Margaret University and it is only a short car journey to the City Bypass.

Craigmillar is also accessible by beautiful cycle routes such as the National Cycle Route One, John Muir Way and the Innocent Railway.

There are many great walking routes and open green spaces around the development.  Nearby is Dr Neil's Garden which is part of the old Kirk at Duddingston Village next to Edinburgh’s iconic Arthur’s seat.  Craigmillar Castle and its grounds also have a rich history and local wildlife to explore.
