Edinburgh Living owns 52 homes at Pennywell Town Centre which are a mix of one, two and three bedroom flats.

Edinburgh Living also owns 20 three bedroom houses and 26 one and two bedroom flats at Phase Three of the wider Pennywell development.

A further 51 homes at Phase Three are due to be available Summer 2023. These will be a mix of one and two bedroom flats, and a small number of three bedroom houses.

Situation

The Pennywell development is located in the north west of Edinburgh, around three miles from the city centre and 1.5 miles from Silverknowes beach.

Pennywell has wonderful views over the Firth of Forth and down to East Lothian.

Central to Pennywell is MacMillan Square which is currently being transformed to feature a new library, nursery and community arts and garden space with employment support services and an arts café.

The development is also close to two medical centres as well as local shops, cafes and supermarkets on Ferry Road and West Granton Road. New retail units are also currently being developed on Pennywell Road.

Transport Links

Pennywell has access to many beautiful cycle routes such as National Cycle Route One and John Muir Way.

There are direct buses to the Western General Hospital and Craigleith Retail Park, Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre and Edinburgh College Granton Campus.

A short walk to Ferry Road provides more buses to Edinburgh city centre and the train stations at Waverley and Haymarket.

Edinburgh Airport and the M8 and M9 central road networks are a 15 minute drive west along Queensferry Road which also connects to the Queensferry Crossing.
